It was 1995, Sligo, I was 15yrs old. Lacking all confidence in life, except for football but I’ll never forget how Robbie saved me during these tough years as a kid. His public persona gave me strength, inspired by his charisma, great wit, fashion & relationships. During those few years to follow, while working in Dublin, I had the pleasure of meeting him with his Mum on a few occasions. He was absolutely lovely, funny, generous & his Mum was so sweet. They were very close as I always was with my Mum.
Slane Castle 1998, supporting The Verve was the 1st of many unforgettable shows. Think you’ll all agree…The King of Entertainment.
